Hey so I establish this on another mazda forums website, but I thought I'd show anyone who didn't know of this great flim-flam!

Tried this on my 2009 GS and it worked!

GT models come with trip computers. Just it appears that owners of 2006+ not-GT models can unlock their trip computers. This seems safe, but I can't guarantee it. Then continue at your own risk.

Here's the simple procedure than was posted. It's been refined a fleck in later posts.

- Before yous put key to the ON position (Right before spark), hold the CD and AM/FM buttons.
- Turn the key to the ON position (keep holding the CD and AM/FM buttons).
- The display will say DIS ON afterward a couple of seconds or so.
- Turn the Primal Off
- Plow the Primal back to the ON position
- Congrats you've now unlocked the trip reckoner!
- Touch the Set or INFO button (may have to hold it for a 2d or two) to encounter the trip computer.
- Touch on the TIME push to meet the clock again.

Your possessors manual explains how to use the trip computer. With the ignition switch ON, press the Gear up push button (manual says INFO button) to cycle through these four options.

- CONSUM CUR: Current fuel economic system (calculated every two seconds)
- CONSUM AV: Average fuel economy (since battery was continued or resetting the trip computer, displayed every minute, to clear: hold Set up for i+ seconds until the display clears)
- REMNG: Distance you can travel on remaining fuel (Y'all need to practice a refill of more than 20 litres to reset it.
- AV: Average vehicle speed (displayed every x seconds, to clear: hold Set for 1+ seconds until brandish clears)

Im assuming something similar would be for 2010+ models, but Im non sure.
